At last, an artist who deserves an honour

Silver Clef Luncheon at Hilton Park Lane, London

The hand painted Gibson guitar featuring Stephen's drawing was on public display at The Silver Clef Luncheon on Friday at Hilton Park Lane. The piece will be auctioned off in late September with all the proceeds being split equally between the three associated charities.

Friday's fantastic Luncheon managed to raise £420,000 for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust.

The top Silver Clef Award was presented to the 'Modfather', Paul Weller, in recognition of a music career which saw him front The Jam and The Style Council before launching himself as a solo artist.

Bryan Ferry won the Ambassador of Rock Award. Snow Patrol were named Best British Group, while Paolo Nutini won the Best New Music Award.

Other honours went to John Legend (International Award), Andrea Bocelli (Classical Award) and The Feeling (Record of the Year for Love It When You Call).

One of Stephen's most recent astonishing drawing captures the moving traffic at Times Square, New York as he recalls from his visit to the city earlier this year.

The piece measures 297mm x 420mm (A3) drawn with pen, ink and pencil on paper.

Our Charity and Educational Work

In June this year, we were pleased donate Stephen's original self-portrait for CYSTIC FIBROSIS HOLIDAY FUND who give children and young people with CF the chance to take a break and do something really special.

Three signed prints were also donated for an auction will be held on the 3rd of November in Cornwall. The proceeds of the event will go towards supporting SPECTRUM's work with children and adults with autistic spectrum disorders.

We were also delighted to welcome a group of students from ACTON COLLEGE.
