At first glance Wiltshire`s drawings do seem to be simple recordings of the structures that fascinate him. Yet closer inspection of the exhibition unearths works that suggest that his art is not simply driven and constrained by his condition, such as drawings of earthquakes and The end of the world (1995) - a chaotic explosion of people and fire. Far from lacking imagination, this vision of hell is expressive and disturbing.(Telegraph.co.uk) READ ON...

Stephen Wiltshire in Hong Kong

Stephen spent a week in Hong Kong in December 2005 to draw the famous cityscape. He flew over Victoria Harbor on a 20 minute helicopter ride and drew for nearly a week based solely on the visual memory of that ride. "This is my Christmas gift to the people of Hong Kong", said Stephen.
