Stephen Wiltshire in Hong Kong
Victoria Harbour came to life on a giant canvas after Stephen drew for 6 days in Asia's world city, Hong Kong. He flew over the harbour on a 20 minute helicopter ride and drew for nearly a week based his memory of that ride.
Stephen looked very focused in the helicopter. "Hong Kong is beautiful and very easy to draw. I like the International Finance Centre best. It is the tallest, like those high skyscrapers in New York".
The 10 metres long sketch is as much a feat of artistry as prodigious memory: contains every building and structure on both sides of the harbour from North Point to Sheung Wan, and from West Kowloon through Tsim Sha Tsui to Hunghom.
After completing the drawing of both Hong Kong and Kowloon side Stephen inspired many children by drawing together the Christmas decoration. Not surpisingly most of them sketched skyscrapers instead. Stephen also presented an award for children's special achievements.
"This is my Christmas gift to the people of Hong Kong", said Stephen.

Stephen Wiltshire's new creation titled Globe of Imagination is based on a 360 degree birds eye view depicting a city, which only exists in his mind. Thousands of buildings, avenues, parks, motorways, sidewalks and its people, chaos and order, traffic and skyscrapers. more
